iPad 3 rumoured to be in development

The third generation of Apple’s iPad tablet device is claimed to be currently in development, in time for a launch in Spring next year.

technology website Digitimes, various sources in the supply chain have said that parts and components for the iPad 3 have started to be delivered, ready for production to begin in Jan next year.
Apple’s production
schedule usually allows for new releases 12 months after the earlier version is launched, though they don’t always stick to this. The Apple iPad 2 was launched in Spring 2011 and the initial device was released in April 2010, so the rumours tally up with the previous iPad launch dates.
Sources
in the industry claim that the new iPad is expected to have a retina display and a slimmer battery, and some rumours say it will have a curved screen and also have 3D capability. It’s also considered that it’s going to feature voice assistant Siri, which was first debuted on the iPhone 4S.
